In the beginning, God’s Children were led
by Prophets and Priests. Thru Moses they were given the law. The
Priests and Prophets interpreted the law, and God spoke to his people
thru them.
Before the coming of Jesus, God’s people had to present a
live animal, for sacrifice, for sin. Jesus, the Son of God, came
fulfilling all the laws God had established with his people. Jesus set
forth a new order, giving each person the right of direct forgiveness
for the repentance of their sin, by accepting Him as the Son of God, the
only Savior, committing to obey his teachings in the Bible, and agreeing
to follow the ‘Righteous Path’, He established for their life.
Life’s Righteous Path has its snares, temptations, trials and troubles. It has
mountain top experiences of ecstasy, and valleys of despair, however, on
the path, all that befalls us is God’s will, and he will provide us the
strength to resist/endure if we will call upon Him.
Christians, following Jesus on the Righteous Path, know and accept thru faith that
He is Holy and Righteous. We who accept and follow Him must strive to,
also be Holy and Righteous in every thought we have, every word we
speak, every action we take, every deed we commit, faithful in tithing,
and in helping the poor and needy.
Christians know that death awaits
us (evidence of God’s unchangeable law) somewhere in the future, at
God’s appointed time. We also know that He will comfort us in death,
and we will be victorious over death at the resurrection. There is no
greater comfort/peace in this life than knowing that you are traveling
the path laid down by Jesus. You are in the Father’s Will and He will
take care of you and your household, in all things.
Jesus by His
coming, His thoughts, His words, His deeds, His death, and His
resurrection established the Righteous Path. Marking the path with snow
white lines, with no curves or broken lines where his followers could
weave in and out to accommodate sin and earthly desire.
The white lines are not where the world says they are, nor the nation, nor the
church, nor man. They were established from the beginning by God, and
perfectly revealed by Jesus Christ in His thoughts, words, deeds, death,
and resurrection. In His law there is NO COMPROMISE. Cross the line
into darkness of temptation and sin, and you are on your own. God does
not protect you from the consequences of your ‘crossing the line’ into
sin. You have turned your back on God and He will not be calling you to
repentance. Remember the Prodigal Son. However, when the son repented
and returned to the father, he was joyously accepted.
God’s law was
established from the beginning of time, is today, and will remain,
forever UNCOMPROMISED. No compromise of Sin, and the Evil of your
Heart. Satan tempted Jesus by saying, ‘Do for me here, and I’ll do for
you there’. Jesus replied, ‘NO COMPROMISE’.
We must respond, when we feel the call of the Holy Spirit, to enter the ‘Righteous Path’,
thereby, escaping eternity in the Lake of Fire. Pray that the Holy
Spirit will convince you now.
