WISDOM – Wisdom is of, and from, God. There is no other source. Wisdom is forever. Wisdom always trumps Knowledge. Seek Wisdom over Knowledge. Wisdom will guide you thru life and will deliver you safely and securely into His presence. Seek God’s Wisdom, Pray for Wisdom, search for Wisdom, desire Wisdom, relentlessly, and continually read the Wisdom Books, Ecclesiastes and Proverbs. They will be your armor against temptation and keep you securely in His presence.

KNOWLEDGE – Knowledge is of this world. Knowledge is gained thru experience, or association. Worldly knowledge comes and goes with life, and as life, will end with death. From whence it comes it shall return, from dust it came and to dust it will return. Knowledge is only beneficial in worldly life.

DISCERNMENT – Discernment comes thru Wisdom, ‘A keenness of insight. The power to see what is not evident to the average mind.’ Be guided in life by Wisdom, and use Knowledge to assist in Discernment. The power of Discernment will reveal the results of evil temptation, before the occurrence, thereby, keeping you safely in the presence of God, and from the wounds inflicted as a result of the occurrence.

TEMPTATION – Temptation may be negative or positive. Negative temptation is from Satan, the very embodiment of evil, intelligence, and will, devoid of any morality. Positive temptation is of God, with the intent of creating spiritual good. When God tested Job, Job replied, “But he knoweth the way that I take; when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold”. God will never tempt or permit his Child to be tempted by Satan, beyond what they can resist thru the power of the Holy Spirit, who dwells within them.

It is written, ‘Do not tempt God’. It would probably be better understood if it were written, “Do not be a fool, and tempt God’.

ILLUSTRATION – Suppose, you as a Christian wish to take a walk in the forest. From knowledge you know there are bears present. Wisdom tells you this walk could be hazardous. Discernment tells you what precautions you should take. You pray that God will protect you from the bears. With no armor against the bears, you begin the walk. Are you tempting God? Yes. Will he protect you? The answer, 'Do not tempt God’. You are invited to a party, where drinking/drugs will most likely be present. Wisdom, Knowledge, and Discernment tells you it’s a No Go. What Satan wishes to hear you say,‘Oh,I can handle the temptation’.
