EARTHLY POWER

There is earthly power evidenced in the life of man. Horsepower, engines, motors, turbines, etc.; explosives, conventional, or atomic; nature, wind, earthquakes; medicines; military; economic; money, politics, etc.

These powers, from the perspective of an individual, are immense. Man cannot grasp the power of a turbine; earthquake; medicine; splitting of an atom; a billion dollars; military; political or economic. Combine all the powers known to man, they are miniscule, and there is no comparison, to the Power of God and His Love.

THE POWER OF LOVE/GOD

We think of power as a physical show of force, that which can be seen and witnessed. There is a power that cannot be seen or measured. It is the power of God’s Love, massively evidenced in the Bible, and thru His Holy Spirit toward His Children. Love is God, and God is Love.

In the security and darkness of your bedroom, you awake, and imagine total darkness, and total silence. Nothing can be seen in the absence of light. There is no sound to give you a clue as to what the darkness is. There is no sun, moon or stars to give a hint of light. Beyond the realm of your being, is unknown. You are alone in the absence of light, in total darkness, powerless. You are experiencing separation from God.

From out of the dark you hear God’s voice. He says, “Let there be light, and there was light, Let there by sky, Let the land and sea separate, and the land produce vegetation. Let there be light to rule the day and light to rule the night. Let the waters produce living creatures. Let the land produce living creatures. Then God said, “Let us make man in our likeness, to rule over the earth and creation”. God’s power is manifest in His Creation. God sent his Son, Jesus Christ, to this earth for a purpose, fulfilling the Prophecy and Law of God. Jesus proclaimed, ‘ALL POWER IN HEAVEN AND EARTH HAS BEEN GIVEN TO ME’. Jesus continually demonstrated his power, healing the sick, sight to the blind, water into wine, lame to walk, revealing God the Father, soothing the storms, increasing food to feed multitude, walking on water, appearing, disappearing, giving life to the dead, and giving power to the Apostles.

How immense is ALL POWER in Jesus Name? The immense power of God, Jesus and Holy Spirit are demonstrated in His Love. Jesus has, power beyond human capability to understand. He had the power to give his life, and in three days, TO TAKE IT UP AGAIN. He knew God loved the world and man, as he had created them, so, Jesus in Obedience and Love of the Father, and His love for sinful mankind, willfully and intentionally sacrificed him self, on the cross, at the hands of sinful man, to give sinful man the opportunity to claim redemption for himself, thereby saving himself from Hell.

Believe in Jesus and you will have Power thru Love to resist all temptation to commit Evil.
