In the beginning there was not a "Wayward Path". God created the world, and all that is in it in five days.

Then God created Man and Woman. God breathed the breath of ‘Eternal Life’ into man, and gave them a soul that would never die. They were created with a free will. They could choose as they wish.

God prepared a beautiful garden, with all kinds of food, for Adam and Eve to eat, and live in. God, while walking with them in the cool of the evening, told them that all the fruits of the garden were theirs to eat and enjoy, with one exception. They must not eat, the fruit of the tree of ‘Good and Evil,’ or they would surely die.

Satan, the Evil Spirit, encouraged Eve, to eat the fruit, and Adam and Eve, in disobedience to God, ate the fruit, and it was sweet to the taste. However, in eating the fruit, they had chosen evil over good. Their eyes were opened and they knew they had sinned against God.

In the cool of the evening, Adam and Eve hid among the trees. God called to them and they replied, “We have sinned.” God replied, “Who told you, you sinned? Have you eaten of the forbidden tree.” Adam replied, “Yes”.

Remember, Adam and Eve, were created with a free will. They made a choice of Evil over Good, which resulted in:

Separation from God, (They never saw God again).

Being cast out of the garden, (Lest they eat of the fruit of the Tree of Life and live forever).

Death (physical and spiritual death), unless you choose to be redeemed.

Mankind being the offspring of Adam and Eve, inherited the consequences of their sin, thus, we are also separated from God, and made subject to the same consequences as Adam and Eve.

Adam and Eve, as a result of their choice, created the ‘Wayward Path’, upon which all mankind are born. When you, when I, become accountable for our life, we as Adam and Eve, have the opportunity to stay on the ‘Wayward Path’, alone without God, leading to torment and hell, or we may choose the ‘Righteous Path’ leading to Heaven and Eternal Life. The Holy Spirit makes known to each person thru their inner conscience, right from wrong, and the need for repentance. Jesus is inviting you to repent and enter the ‘Righteous Path’ that leads to your Heavenly Home that He is preparing for you.
