FAMILY GARDEN:
God MADE the first Garden, the Garden of Eden, for Adam and Eve. The
Garden furnished all their food, and water. God also planted in the
garden the Tree of Life.
The garden in early times and pioneer days of
this nation was the main source of food, and often the only source. The
garden was the focal point of the family. Visitors often would be shown
the garden, and the garden would be the topic of discussion.
The garden was located near the home, and most often fenced with, thick hedges,
rock, or split wood palings to protect from animals. The mother of the
family was often in charge of the garden, planning, tilling, planting,
hoeing, protecting from insects and harvesting.
How well the garden is tended determines the quality, and quantity of the harvest. Many
lessons are taught, and many lessons are learned in the garden. Garden
is often a metaphor in the Bible.
GARDEN OF LIFE:
God made Adam and Eve the caretaker of His Garden. God has, also, made a
garden for you and placed you therein as His caretaker.
God denied Adam
and Eve access to the Tree of Life as a result of their disobedience.
Jesus came as a Tree of Life, offering every gardener a Tree of
Life for their garden. Inviting each person to accept Him as the Tree
of Life, and build their Garden of Life around his teachings.
Accept the Tree he is offering you, by
recognizing and accepting Him as the Son of God. Learn from the Bible
how He managed his Garden of Life, and likewise, manage yours. The fruits from your garden will be a
Heavenly home, as well as a life of spiritual blessings, on this earth.
You will harvest what you plant! You will reap what you sow! The
thought you have, the words you speak, and the deeds you do, will bring
forth the harvest, you receive. The tree planted will bring forth fruit
of its own kind, and the fruit will bear witness to the tree. The tree
that does not bear good fruit, is cut down and cast into a consuming
fire. The person you are, will be evidenced, by the thought you have,
by the words you speak, and the deeds you do, just as the tree in the
garden produces, you also will produce, like fruit. What fruit are you
producing?
Unforgiving thoughts and deceitful deeds will bring forth a
return of like abundance. Evil thought are as thorns and thistles in
garden. Thru repentance the gardener must pull them up, and cast out
daily, or they will grow and produce the harvest of disappointment and
evil.
Acts of love, repentance, compassion, forgiveness and affection
will bring forth a like harvest.
As an axe is to a tree, so is mans evil
thoughts, to him self. Love and kind deeds bring forth a return of like
abundance. The fruit of the righteous is a Tree of Life. He who tends
the tree will eat its fruit!
